Here at West Wind, we cater to all varieties of riders. From the very young to adult riders, our program is tailored for each individual to get the most out of their lessons. Whether your goal is to enjoy a trail ride or navigate a course of jumps, we're here to help you realize your dreams. We strive to promote a fun and safe environment where every student can learn, as well as just enjoy the ability to be on horseback.
Your lesson is adjusted to your personal desires and goals. We will work with you to realize your dreams in a controlled environment on our educated school horses. Our lesson program is designed for riders age five and up, from beginner all the way to advanced. We provide helmets, but encourage all serious riders to purchase their own equipment after they've decided they want to ride on a regular basis.
We offer lessons in both English and Western disciplines, specializing in equitation, hunter and jumper, as well as western pleasure. We teach our students how to properly do all that is required of a rider, including: get your horse from its field or stall, groom properly, choose the right tack as well as tack up properly, mount your horse, and many other tasks that are involved before you ride. (Of course, this is all in addition to the actual riding!) Our focus is on safety and fun, of course!
